Our high quality pads offer the highest concentration of magnets than any pad on the market for the money. There are many low quality imports on the market today. Our pads are manufactured in the U.S. according to our specifications and standards. The unipole Bio-North ceramic disk magnets in our pads are all oriented so that the North pole (negative) side is always towards the body. Unlike all other shapes, discs create the purest, most efficient magnetic field, resulting in the most therapeutic value for our customers. Magnetic lines of flux radiate in a curved shape. In square, rectangular or triangular magnets, the curved flux lines are disrupted, thereby reducing the magnetic force. These other shapes can be large, heavy magnets that look impressive but yield less magnetic force than an equal weight disc magnet. Using disc magnets allows us to make a lighter, stronger, more effective magnetic pad.
Our Deluxe High Density magnetic pads (1 inch thick) also have a quality Damask fabric and polyester fiber padding (.50 ounces per quare foot) above and flat foam below the magnets. The 3950 gauss rated magnets are attached using the special hot melt process. This pad is perfect for those who like the way their present mattress feels but want the health benefits of magnets. Additionally, the bottom layer is made with structural grade 0.75 ounces per square foot polyester fiber padding. This pad also has our non-skid fabric backing. The construction is as follows:
